2010 — 360˚ Fahrconfigurator

“Do everything what pushes the project”.

Set supervision
Responsible for set supervision at Barcelona locations like set measuring, stick tracking marker, take environment spheres and tunnels as well as lens grids and photos for colour reference.

Pipeline engineering and post production

Allocate Set photos.
Set up pipeline like naming conventions and coordinate film data management. Develop strategy of work tasks as well as coordinate test runs with producer. Bring changes of cut into pipeline as well as content changes. Coordinate and approve the externally processed orders. Develop test and control procedures together with programmer and producer. Change software programming of render tasks. Prepare results for client approvals.

Compositing:
Start procedures of stitch spheres and tunnels. Set extension and environment with colleges. Neutral grade. Final colour grade with colleges.

Exhibition commercial for kitchen door closing systems.

Set supervision on film set as well as photo shooting at the same studio.
During high key Film shooting take care of best results concerning the possibilities to bring in CG elements in post production. Responsible for sphere shooting, set measurement and tracking markers in order to do set extension.
Composit CG elements.
Monitoring of the correct positions and angels during photo shooting in dependency the previce settings.

2010 — Hindenburg

TV movie. Compositing of the last seconds of the Hindenburg.
Starts with explosion in the air till lay down (side view) except the shot with tower (finished by Florian).
Combine live action plates with CG Zeppelin and Fire. Bring in explosion elements from green screen studio into the shot.

2008 — Ninja Assassin

Sequence Lead Digital Compositor

Slice of head by Ninja sword. Rebuild of camera movement and retime. Reduce camera shake. New timing of falling head, new focus pull. Bring in new CG elements like blood splatter after cut, head impact on ground with blood. Create clean plate. Bring particels of broken glass in foreground. Bring in green screen elements of blood. Remove tracking marker and explosion sparks caused by crashing glass of table.

Several shots of “Osaka Rooftop” sequence. Bring in CG cain with knife and raintrails.

Teach interns.

During camera movement replace the nose of a human face with a morph from a pig nose to a ducks beak (CG). Skin colours changed slightly.

Compositing of Full CG shots with seaplane, rocks, water and CG waterfalls and mist. Including under water rocks and 2D light rays. Colour match to other shots and tracking of waterfalls.

Insert Lex Lutor (in front of green screen) to Mat paint and CG rocks with falling rocks and dust. Match background movement to camera movement. (section of the picture). Match green Kriptonite colour to other shots.

Insert CG rocks behind windows (green screen) during light flashes. Add windows and hull. Add water drips on both. Tracking of hull and windows. Add fog in front and behind the seaplane.

Change original water surface with CG water and rocks in BG.

2004 — Harry Potter III - "The Prisoner Of Azkaban"

Precompose pictures. Exchange of the pictures content in the background by using a combination of different methods to generate the mattes, i.e. a kind of “difference-key”. Colourmatching of the precomposed pictures and the whole frame. Insert pictures into the frames during camerapan and cameracrane movement.

As mentioned above. Studio wall and frames wobbling in a different way, therefore matching of the frames to the wobbling wall.
